New magnetic resonance imaging, computed tomography, X-ray and ultrasound

The Healthcare Complex in Bolesławiec will soon be able to use the most modern imaging diagnostics in the region, currently consisting of a brand new magnetic resonance imaging machine by General Electric, a computer tomograph, an X-ray and ultrasound machine. The next stage of the development of Diagnostic Imaging will be the purchase of a container CT and a mammography camera.

The equipment is operated by trained, qualified medical personnel, including doctors, technicians, electroradiologists, nurses and paramedics.

Despite the planned start of full Diagnostics Imaging operations in March, MRI examinations have been suspended due to the prevailing coronavirus pandemic and the transformation of our facility into a single-name infectious hospital. The only tests that are performed on an ongoing basis during the pandemic concern CT and X-ray, which are used by hospitalized coronavirus patients.

Due to the current pandemic and the suspension of competitions for reimbursed services by the National Health Fund, at the moment it will be possible to register only for private magnetic resonance examinations. The planned start date of the research is the end of June 2020.
